Mentions

This is where you'll spend most of your time. Every mention of your brand lands here.

The mentions feed

The feed shows every mention BrandSonar has found across your enabled platforms. Each mention includes the source, author, text, relevance score, and sentiment, and you can click through to the original post. The feed uses infinite scroll, so just keep scrolling to load more.

Searching and filtering

Use the search bar to find mentions by text content (tip: press / to jump straight to it). You can also filter by platform, relevance, sentiment, and date range to narrow things down.

Relevance scores

BrandSonar uses AI to score how relevant each mention is to your brand, from 0 to 100. Scores are grouped into tiers:

  • High (80+) – directly about your brand.
  • Medium (65–79) – likely relevant, maybe a passing mention.
  • Low (40–64) – loosely related, could be about a competitor.
  • Minimal (<40) – probably not relevant.

If you're seeing too many low-relevance results, try tightening your negative keywordsbefore raising the relevance threshold. You'll get cleaner results without missing edge cases.

Sentiment

Each mention is classified as positive, neutral, or negative. This is useful for quickly spotting complaints or praise without reading every post.

Labels

BrandSonar automatically applies your labels to incoming mentions using AI. You can also manually add or remove labels from any mention by clicking the label icon on its card.

Exporting

Click Export at the top of the page to download your mentions as CSV, XLSX, or JSON. You can filter the export by platform, date range, relevance, and sentiment.
